Fauna Flash are Christian Prommer and Roland Appel (one of Munich’s best wild-style DJs). Together with Rainer Trüby they also formed the Compost project Trüby Trio (which is in fact Rainer Trüby & Fauna Flash) and years later they teamed up with Peter Kruder under the Voom Voom banner (check out two Voom Voom 12inches) .
Roland and Christian ’s tracks were always influenced by jazz and 80s-fusion. And although they are not only specialized on drum & bass, their futuristic beats and subsonic basslines still telling where their roots are. You find here funky stepper and dark deep tracks, which were compared in Germany's De Bug Magazine with Peshay, Krust and Renagade production.
